Design of the Month – March

Each month we’ll be sharing a new workplace design that we love. Use it as an inspiration for your own office as you gather ideas from cool office spaces around the world.

March’s Design of the Month – SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board) in San Francisco

The quick facts:

• Non-Profit/Government Industry

You can probably guess this from their name, but one thing stood out when we saw SASB’s office space – sustainability. They happened to find the perfect space to show this with both city views and nature views. There aren’t many places in their office that you don’t see a plant or some type of greenery.

We’re also loving the inspiring quotes you’ll see throughout SASB’s office. These quotes are from those that have inspired the team through their leadership. They also happen to be the names of a few conference rooms. How can you not be inspired in a meeting room named Lincoln or Shakespeare? On top of the quotes, SASB created a transparent wall through a layered glass that lists the industries they are influencing through their work. The perfect thing to divide your break room and work area.

The furniture you see throughout the office is very modern, simple and clean. The few pops of color through wall space or chairs really stand out. The “clear and quiet confidence” that SASB wanted to display really does shine through.
