We are passionate about helping companies build a stronger culture while also creating beautiful technology-optimized workspaces that help businesses thrive.
For many of us, the office is like a home away from home, and it’s important to us that our clients have a workplace that every employee enjoys going to each day. Space where they feel productive, and supported in doing their best work. Space to collaborate on projects, have small group meetings and also have quiet places to do heads-down solo work.
We like to think of Transcend as a new breed of real estate brokerages. Our mission is to bring our clients more value; to do things differently in a way that supports growth and the short and long term goals of the businesses we work with. So, when it came time to consider corporate giving, we were on a mission to find a new breed of nonprofits. We wanted to help an organization that does things differently; that uses innovation and technology to bring value to their cause.
New Story was a natural fit from the start. Focused on addressing the global issue of homelessness, New Story builds homes and communities for families around the world by leveraging partnerships and using innovative technology.
Last year, they built the first 3D-printed home in the US and are on a mission to use this tech to build homes for the world’s one billion people living without adequate shelter. What really captured our attention, though, was their transparent donation model that clearly identifies where your donations go and the impact they have.
Inspired by this refreshing approach to giving and our overlapping values, we decided to partner with New Story by pledging to donate $100 from every deal we close. That means every penny will go directly to funding homebuilding for families in need. In other words, a space for a company turns into a space for a family.
When it comes to corporate giving, we couldn’t have partnered with a more like-minded organization. New Story’s use of technology for the greater good and belief in doing things differently reflects our own values and makes this partnership all the more meaningful.
